Barbie now has a choice of atleast two rides for her 50th anniversary. After the pink Fiat 500, Volkswagen of America has rolled out a customized New Beetle convertible dolled up with pink paint, rhinestones and a motorized vanity in the trunk.
VW put its Malibu Barbie New Beetle on display at the Malibu Dream House, a real-life home decked out for Barbie’s birthday. Customization artists ABD Racing Werks, Katzkin Leather and Interiors and FoamMolders have given a complete chic look to the car which compliments the iconic doll. The girly car touts sparkling pink color paint.
The Barbie New Beetle convertible gets a white leather interior and convertible top, hand-stitched floor mats and pink quilted leather door pockets and arm rests. Even the dipstick is painted to resemble her favorite lipstick. Seems like the pretty doll would definitely want to take a drive in her Beetle with Ken (her boyfriend).
