The latest Mac Pro by Apple costs around $5999. And with Apple, you know you’re getting the best of products. But if you really want the best of the best, you will have to fork out $52,599 for their Mac Pro desktop. It’s the single most expensive Mac ever made – you could get a car for cheaper. It has some amazing specifications to justify the high cost.
It has the basics of a Mac Pro: the regular 32GB of RAM, an octa-core Intel Xeon CPU, Radeon Pro 580X graphics, and a 256GB SSD. And then the specs start getting more interesting. The processor is a 28-Core, 2.5GHz Intel Xeon W with 28 cores, 56 threads, and Turbo Boost up to 4.4GHz. There’s an additional 1.5TB of 2933MHz RAM, broken down into 12 128GB user-replaceable slot.
It has 4TB of SSD storage, split across two 2TB SSDs. Apple says they’re soon going to make 8TB available too. It has two AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo graphics card modules, each with two GPUs inside for a total of four graphics cards.
It has an afterburner accelerator card, and wheels for the Mac. It comes with a magic keyboard, magic mouse, and magic trackpad. This is just the baseline. You can totally add on better graphics, GPUs, and a lot more, of course for an extra cost. But if you can afford this desktop, the rest shouldn’t be a problem for you. It’s for sale on the Apple website, and even if you can’t buy it, we suggest you take a look at the fancy specs.
