Who would have thought that a BIC pen could ever amount to so much? Moral of the story is that anyone or anything can amount to a lot, once peppered with enough Swarovski crystals. The BIC pen dress certainly proves it. Created from 2000 Swarovski crystals and 1200 odd BICs ; the dress is actually up for sale. It competes with the diamond prom dress in terms of ludicrous thngs to buy and actually wear – but its right out there.
The dress was actually made for a purpose – to celebrate the 60th anniversary of BIC. Its up on exhibition at BIC Crystal Exhibition in West London and indeed for sale at the £10,000 price.
