For the rough and tough guys, Casio G-shock has presented timepieces that you must get your hands on. They feature a unique laser camouflage print, on a titanium case and band. Don’t be fooled by the rugged look of these watches; they’re incredibly light. The men’s watches are available in Casio’s MT-G and GMWB5000 silhouettes.
The GMW-B5000TB from this series covers the titanium in diamond-like carbon (DLC) to further increase the toughness, and both square-face models have sapphire crystal over the face. It has the iconic square case and STN digital display for higher contrast and visibility at higher angles. It has 4 daily alarms, 1/100th second stopwatch, and a multilingual day/month display.
The MTGB1000DCM-1 features an analog display and sapphire crystal. It also has G-SHOCK’s Triple G Resist technology which is made for the wild.
This rugged watch is also worldly-wise. Both the models feature 200m water resistance and shock resistance. The MTGB1000DCM has a full Auto Super illuminator LED light, and the GMWB5000TCM has a full Auto Super Illuminator LED backlight. Both models come with a daily alarm, a countdown timer, a full auto calendar and world time (39 TZ + 27 cities).
Both the watches will be available at standard G-SHOCK retailers including Macy’s, the G-SHOCK Soho Store, and gshock.com. The GMWB5000TCM costs $1600, and the MTGB1000DCM retails at $1200.
Since its launch in the 1980s, the G-shock has established itself as one of the toughest watches in the market. These are limited edition, so get your rough hands on them while you can.
