Christian Louboutin has given form to his dreams with this cocktail bar for Grey Goose. The bar which is in the form of a classic stilleto turned on its side shall be auctioned to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Christian is often credited as the show designer who single handedly brought back the stiletto into fashion. The bar has a high shine black gloss bar top, while the back of the bar is lacquered in Pantone 186c to mimic Louboutin’s signature scarlet sole. As Louboutin himself explains, the slick of red beneath every pair of Louboutins is designed to make the wearer feel as though they are walking the red carpet just like an A-Lister.
To complement the bar design, Louboutin has also designed a unique cocktail that will be served to guests on the evening. This unique drink features a needle and thread representing the architecture involved in Louboutin’s work and the exquisite French craftsmanship for which he is famed. An intriguingly sour combination of GREY GOOSE Le Citron, tart French raspberries, cherries and goji berry liqueur, the Red Carpet cocktail is finished with pepper and a touch of ginger – Christian’s favourite flavour.
So if you missed out on the exclusive Porsche Design Studio bar , then there is reason to cheer for you still have a chance at owning the cocktail bar designed by Christian Louboutin, the only one of its kind.
