It’s no secret that Canadian rapper/singer Drake loves NBA. And this weekend, his beloved Toronto Raptors were playing the Philadelphia 76ers at Scotiabank Arena last weekend. Champagne Papi, as Drake is called on Instagram, was seen at courtside enjoying the game, casually wearing a $600,000 Patek Phillipe watch.
Drake has always known how to treat himself, and this watch is a work of pure luxury. The Patek Phillipe 5719/10R-010 in rose gold is an extremely rare version to find. The case features 100 brilliant-cut diamonds and 32 baguette-cut diamonds, the bracelet 803 brilliant-cut diamonds and 150 baguette diamonds and the dial is fully set with 255 brilliant-cut diamonds and 3 baguette diamond hour markers making a total of 1,343 diamonds. It hasn’t been confirmed, but his watch is a custom-made version of the Swiss watchmaker’s Nautilus 5719/10G. The official watch was produced in white gold, but the Drake’s edition is reportedly made of rose gold. Other than that, this version seems to be an exact match for the exclusive timepiece.
Champage Papi is not one to shy off from showing off his products. Recently, he had also bought himself a custom-made Rolls Royce Bushukan which we had written about. His love for watches is excessive though. This year alone, he was spotted wearing the very NSFW Richard Mile RM 69 Tourbillon Erotic while watching the NBA finals, and a Patek Philippe Aquanaut, Reference 5968A sometime during the summer.
