The aim of Swiss watchmaker, Eberhard & Co. has always been to challenge time, measuring it with relentless accuracy. Best known for its precision watches and chronographs, Eberhard watches are not only beautiful to look at, they have the charm that never fades over time.
Eberhard released a special edition chronograph dedicated to the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo and in particular to its sport DNA, represented by the “Quadrifoglio Verde” symbol. In fact, the four leaf clover, at the same time a lucky charm and an emblem of boldness, has been the signature for Alfa Romeo’s most sporting models since 1923.
“The “Quadrifoglio Verde” limited edition is dedicated to the sporting spirit of the historic Italian brand, Alfa Romeo: 250 pieces designed to showcase the technical know-how and stylish design characterising both brands’ products.” According to their official page.
The watch features 43mm case in stainless steel, and is water resistant to 30 meter deep. The caseback is fixed by 8 screws and personalised with engravings and the Alfa Romeo logos. The timepiece boasts of an automatic movement which drives the hours and minutes, small seconds and chronograph display on the black dial.
The numerals and indices on the dials resemble those on Alfa Romeo dashboards. “The “Quadrifoglio Verde” , symbol of Alfa Romeo’s most sporting models, is the emblem of this exclusive limited edition. The chronograph boasts a generous 43mm diameter steel case housing the automatic movement which animates three counters. Of these, the small seconds’ catches the eye first: its reading is given by a hand shaped as the triangular clover emblem.”
The Eberhard & Co. Quadrifoglio Verde Chronograph comes on a black strap made of waterproof textile material, which closes with a logo-embossed steel buckle.
The limited edition new Eberhard “Quadrifoglio Verde” Chronograph Reference 31070 will be on sale exclusively at Eberhard’s authorised dealers in September 2019 but can be ordered immediately. It will retail for $5,920. For more details, visit their official page
