While nothing compares to Korea Air’s decision of having actual shops in-flight on their A380 aircrafts, Etihad is indeed setting new standards of comfort. The national airline of the United Arab Emirates is launching Swarovski studded black amenity kits for the female passengers while the males will have an exclusive black leather pouch.
Female passenger will be treated to luxury products from brands such as La Prairie with products taht are useful in-flight such as hand cream and lip balm, moisturisers etc.
Male passengers on long flights will benefit from amenities such as a shaving kit which includes a Schick Xtreme 3 razor and shaving cream.
Both kits will also include toothbrush and toothpaste, ear plugs, socks and eyeshades for both genders. What we loved however was that each kit will also include high-quality tailored male and female loungewear, an offering exclusive to Etihad Airways First Class passengers. These offerings have been recognised as the best in the industry by prestigious accolades such as the recently awarded World’s Leading First Class by the World Travel Awards.
