It’s been 40 years since Focal, the French headphone and speaker company opened up. To celebrate, they have been releasing products marking their anniversary throughout 2019. And now, they have dropped the newest item: The Symphonie 40th case headphones for $18,000.
The box comes with two pairs of iconic Focal headphones, the Utopia and Stellia, as well as amplifier and DAC Arche and Questyle player QPM. The Utopia open-back headphones paired with the Focal Arche DAC & amplifier provide comfortable, at-home listening. The Stellia closed-back headphones and Questyle QPM allow listeners to take their music on the go.
But you can really mix and match the acoustics as you please. Other equipment in the box includes a 4-pin Litz XLR cable to connect Utopia and Arche; a 4.4mm jack adapter to link Stellia and the QPM player; a mini jack adaptor for Utopia and the player; and an XLR cable for Stellia and Arche.
The box itself is covered in Macassar ebony veneer wood, coated with a satin finish. The inside is lined with soft, beige microfiber, while the outside is adorned with metal clasps and side handles.
Other 40th anniversary releases include the F40TH car audio component, the SCALA 40TH Hi-Fi loudspeaker, a SOLO6 BE 40TH studio monitor, and a lot more. To find out more and buy these products, check out their site. Do hurry, because only 40 pieces will be made.
