The excitement about the December 20 release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is getting to all of us. Samsung also seems to be taken by this, since they’ve announced the release of a special edition of Galaxy Note 10+.
The Note has a really cool light-sabre type red S Pen. The body is black, with a First Order emblem on the back and red trim on the buttons and around the camera. It comes in a Kylo Ren-themed box, along with black Galaxy Buds with a red inner casing, a Ren-themed leather phone case, and a Ren-themed ‘metal badge’.
The phone will come with exclusive Star Wars-themed wallpapers, shutdown animations, icons, and sounds. As far as specifications go, it’s pretty much the standard Galaxy Note 10+. It has a dynamic AMOLED capacitative touchscreen, is 6.3 inches, runs on Android 9, and has fingerprint recognition with compass and barometer.
It will be available from December 10 in the USA, at a price of $1,299.99, which is a little steeper than the regular 10+, which sells at $839.99. Even so, it’s pretty reasonable for passionate enthusiasts of the Star Wars franchise. Samsung says the model will be available in Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UAE, the UK, apart from the US. This is just a part of the Samsung and Lucasfilm collaboration; the two also worked together on a holiday campaign film.
