Turns out that while the Middle-East as thrilled with the launch of Ruwa – the diamond studded non-alcoholic drink meant specifically for the followers of the Prophet ; the rest of the world despaired at not having a blingy alcoholic drink that they could call their own. Sure there have been limited editions of bottles blinged with Swarovski crystals, but nothing ever comes close to the real thing.
Luckily for us, the same company (The Luxury Beverage Company of the UK) that came out with Ruwa ; has now come up with the worlds most luxurious whisky. The Isabella original is meant for the filthy rich and costs $6.2 Million ; is covered with 8,500 diamonds (no, we did not bother counting – lets just take their word for it) and 300 rubies too. In order to hold it in place, two bars of white gold was used to cover the crystal decanter. The single malt whisky lies inside of this multi million dollar container.
As expected the Luxury Beverage Company allows buyers to personalise the bottles as per their liking. The Isabella Special edition is the budget variety with a cost of less than a million dollars – $740,000 to be precise. Its made of white gold and has diamond lettering but is obviously much lower on the bling scale as compared to the Original.
As was the case with Ruwa, refills of the whisky are available upon request.
