Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star for $130,000 only

Japan and its love for anime is legendary. The author of this article is himself a self-confessed anime-aholic. Its hard not to be given the fantastic story lines and animation that the Japanese weave into their plots. Given the amount of adulation that certain manga characters have, we are not surprised to see this figure of Kenshiro from the classic Fist of the North Star manga and anime to be priced at a whopping $130,000!

The figure of Kenshiro is life size – he stands about 6 feet tall and his dress has been studded with 500,000 individual pieces of Swarovski crystals. Kenshiro will go on display at Tokyo’s Haneda airport beginning November 1t and is to be later sold at an auction with the proceeds going to charity. For us paupers, swarovski crystal Kenshiro miniatures will also be sold beginning from tomorrow (October 25).
