We’ve occasionally seen Lenovo’s branding on Ducati racing motorcycles, but this time the tables have been turned. Lenovo’s new laptop in partnership with Ducati has racing stripes on its back.
The sleek metallic grey laptop with red stripes is made specially for Ducati fans. Apparently, the laptop even revs up and makes racing bike sounds while starting up. On the technical side, it’s a 10th-gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor, Intel integrated graphics, 8GB of memory, 1TB SSD, and 14-inch Full HD display. It sports multiple ports, so there’s no need to carry around a dongle with it.
It also has a 1MP webcam and a pair of 2-watt speakers with Dolby Audio. The Lenovo Ducati 5 laptop includes Bluetooth 5.0, 802.11ax/ac/a/b/g/n WiFi, up to 12 hours of battery life, a fingerprint reader built into the power button, and a webcam privacy shutter. It also has a fingerprint reader supported by Windows Hello, so logging in will be easy.
Only 12,000 units will be made, and at €899.99, it’s not a bad deal at all. You’ll have to wait till April, when the laptop will be launched. But there’s some bad news for buyers in the USA: it won’t be made available in the country.
