The world’s most famous mouse turned 90 recently, and SMEG found the perfect way to add a little happiness and cheer to celebrate it. In collaboration with Disney, SMEG has launched the Fab 28 fridge, with an imprint of Mickey Mouse on it.
The refrigerator does cost $2799, but it brings a little bit of cheer from the happiest place on earth, right into your home. This design was originally released in the USA in 2007, and the demand for it has just grown. This particular design was launched in the UK last year, and his hit the markets again this year.
Paul McCormack said, “The SMEG-Disney synergy is inherent, and we’re honored to work with such a renowned, creative company. They say the kitchen is the heart of the home, and bringing households together, whether through food or entertainment, is at the core of what each brand stands for. After the success of our initial partnership in the UK, we’re pleased to now bring a newly-designed Mickey Mouse FAB28 to the American market.”
With a black and white Mickey Mouse embossed on the front door, the insides of the fridge are pretty good too. It has a 9.22-cubic-foot capacity, including 3 shelves, door storage, a wine rack, and vegetable container. It also has more-adjustable glass shelves, and a Multiflow Cooling System. Plus, it’s suited for smaller spaces, and is ‘A’ rated for efficiency. Starting November, it will be available in Williams Sonoma stores across the country.
