The 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die, is releasing in February 2020. We could not be more excited to see Daniel Craig back on the screen as the British secret agent 007.
Omega has just released the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, a watch worn by James Bond in the movie. They had a grand celebration to mark the release of the watch, which was attended by Daniel Craig, and producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.
The watch itself is a thing of beauty, with a classic stainless steel case and black rubber strap. This limited edition case comes along with another version of the watch, in 18k yellow gold. It also includes a spiral-brushed black ceramic dial, as well as a laser-engraved gun-barrel design.
This watch contains a hidden ’50’ within the Super-LumiNova of the 10 o’clock index. It is a reference to the 50th anniversary of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969), and a marker at 12 o’clock inspired by the Bond family coat-of-arms.
“Bond’s military experience is a fundamental part of 007’s character, so it is fitting that Omega’s new design so cleverly reflects that aspect of his identity. Bond and Omega have been synonymous for almost a quarter of a century now, so as we prepare to launch the 25th ‘Bond’ movie, the timing is perfect to launch the new Bond watch,” say the filmmakers. Only 257 sets of the limited edition set of watches will be made, and will be available for purchase from February 2020.
