When you think of champagne, it’s impossible to not think of Moët & Chandon. The brand is legendary, and their flagship drink, the Moët Impérial, has actually been around for 150 years. To celebrate, they have released a limited edition holiday bottle of the drink that has been marking special occasions for so long.
The Moët Impérial was born in 1869 as a tribute to the imperial bond between the grandson of the Maison’s founder and the French Emperor during that time, Napoléon Bonaparte. The iconic champagne is the result of a perfect balance of three high-quality grapes: Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay.
The 2019 holiday edition has turned the bottle into a vision with a golden sleeve and a golden leaves texture. The bottle has a standout inscription of the letter ‘I’ in silver. It comes with two golden stemmed champagne coupes, and a coffret that crowns the bottle. Truly a royal look. This elixir is limited to 500 bottles worldwide.
For those who aren’t champagne drinkers as such, the brand has a wonderfully elegant suggestion for a cocktail drink. The “Impérial 1869” cocktail recipe includes the signature champagne, paired with citrusy flavours to accentuate the fruity taste, and make it more delicious.
