Out of all the fandoms out there, the Super Mario Fandom is one of the most dedicated ones. This is why this week, a copy of the N64 Game sold for a cool $1.56 million. While some of these fans may be mad ballers, but, the rest are people like you or me.
So, what do we do to show our love then? Well, we go for the next best option, a Super Mario smartwatch!
A Super Mario smartwatch!?
18 hours ago, TAG Heuer blessed this world with the announcement of a Super Mario smartwatch in collaboration with Nintendo. Now, this announcement would have drowned out in the noise if not for the fact that this collab involved Nintendo. A company that is famous for protecting its IPs with an iron fist and a herculean grip.
TAG Heuer is calling this whole ordeal a long-term collaboration and launching this watch as one of the first fruits of it.
Is it any good?
The Super Mario smartwatch itself looks quite good and has a host of features to keep you happy. The cherry on the top is the fact that throughout the UI, you will find good Ol’ Mario popping up to tell you if you are exercising enough or not.
The sad bit is that this watch is essentially a repackaged TAG Heuer Connected that was launched last year. The differences are, an M on the dial, little icons of the characters on the bezel ring, red accents, and a red rubber strap.
The 45mm case of this Super Mario smartwatch watch contains a 430mAh battery that can last between 6-20 hours depending on how much you choose to use the GPS and other sensors.
How much will I need to spend?
As promised, this won’t cost you a fortune! Just a paltry $2,150. Though, be sure to snatch em when they go live on July 15 as you may end up paying WAY more down the line.
