What do you do when you’re a billionaire living somewhere near the Swiss Alps, and thinking what best to give your kids for Christmas – gift then the world’s most expensive playhouse. That’s what a billionaire actually did in for his kids this Christmas!
This Wendy house built on the foothills of the Alps has been hand-built by Russell Bowlby, owner of children’s play equipment firm Flights of Fantasy. The house features a 18 feet x 15 feet walk area, and is made from 13,000 feet of sandblasted pine wood planks to keep the house insulated in sub-zero temperatures too.
There are as many as 400 decorative lights inside this two-storey house. All its four rooms are well furnished with LEDs, customised furnishings and TV equipment.
The house costs £150,000 ($232,235) with a £100,000 ($154,815) spent on materials and construction, apart from other costs, the other £50,000 ($77,410) were required to ship the play house to Switzerland.
