Though it may not be the same red one that is being used in Vegas by Elton John, this one is a replica and is one of the 30 from the same batch of limited edition piano’s that bear Elton’s autograph. This particular one also boasts of being the only one that was built in the UK from those 30. Elton got the idea of a red piano after finding the traditional black one a bit too dull for the glamour of Las Vegas where he has been booked for a number of concerts at Caesars Palace.
The beautiful red piano is a Elton John Signature Series Limited Edition Grand Piano and also has an exclusive electronic system which allows music files to be downloaded and uploaded to it.
A Leicester music store is now offering this piece for sale at a price of £69,000. Buyers will be happy to note that a part of this grandiose price tag will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
