On Rich Times, we have discussed about things that make us feel special numerous times. Every one of these products have one thing in common, they all are unique in some way. Some were made with special attention to detail, while some exist in very limited quantities. That again, comes with a price. The rarer and more exquisite something is, the higher its price tag will be.
Therefore, it is no surprise that only a very select few of us get to experience these unique things. More often than not, those select few also happen to be extremely rich. Now, we all know that money makes the world go round, and the case for that doesn’t get any better than this.
But, the power of wealth isn’t limited to just that. No sir! Money is much more powerful than that. Therefore, those who acknowledge that power oft transform the normal things into the most amazing ones. With money, any normal thing can be special and any special thing can become extraordinary.
So, why am I rambling about the power of money?
Well, that is because I recently saw a very beautiful Lamborghini. The owner of the car had it covered in millions of Swarovski crystals. Two million to be specific. Apparently, the owner wasn’t amused with the paint job the car came with.
I mean, sure! Why not? After all, if you are driving around in a fancy Lambo made to show off, then you better strive for a perfect show off game. You can’t falter at all.
Who is this genius owner?
The owner is a Blogger and Instagram model Daria Radionova. She is also the CEO of DR Jackets. She had her Lamborghini Aventador SV covered in all those Swarovski crystals to get in on that bling life.
Most of the crystals are black but red crystals have been used to spell “SV” on the car’s sides. She mentioned that every crystal on the car was applied by hand and it took over 700 hours to make.
Now, the car itself goes for around $421,000 USD. However, this visual upgrade easily takes the price up by 150-200K depending on the type of crystal used. Even if she used a low end black Swarovski crystal, she would would have spent around 140K just for the crystals alone. Add to that the cost of the labor that went into it and you are looking at a nice six figure amount.
