More and more brands are collaborating with luxury brands, and coming up with exciting merchandise. Sports and luxury may not be an obvious link, but the Puma and Balmain collection is here to prove otherwise.
The two brands have recently come up with a limited-edition collection. This collection includes a sequinned kimono that costs $8,000 and a pair of shorts for $250. There are two limited-edition capsule collections, both of which are being launched with an exciting interactive campaign, promoting love and unity.
Another exciting thing about it is that model Cara Delevingne is the face of it. The campaign stands up for mental health, trans rights, fighting to survive, and fighting for love. The creator of the campaign said, “This new collection stands at the intersection of sports and fashion, with pieces inspired by traditional boxing gear and infused with Parisian couture. Bra tops, boxing shorts, and sneakers are elevated with a stark colour palette, hits of gold, and design elements straight out of Balmain’s atelier.”
This is the latest of sports companies teaming up with luxury sports brands to come up with exciting new collections. We hope to see many more such collaborations. You can find out about this one here.
