Belgian racing driver Jacques Bernard “Jacky” Ickx is nothing less than a legend. Apart from being an F1 driver, he has also won six Hour of Le Mans titles, most of them whilst driving a Porsche. He won the races in a Porsche 936 and one in a Porsche 956 and was also a consultant to the rotary-powered Mazda 787B team, which won the 1991 Le Mans race. That’s why Porsche has decided to create a special edition of the 911 as a tribute to the 75-year-old track legend.
The car was designed by Porsche Exclusiv and based on the 911 Carrera 4S. The Belgian Legend Edition has updated styling based on Ickx’s blue and white helmet. The car is a special shade called ‘X Blue,’ and has the Belgian flag and Ickx’s signature on the B pillar.

The special edition Porsche has carbon door sill guards which says ‘Belgian Legend Edition’. The interior is trimmed in black leather with Pebble Gray X stitching on the dashboard. Other details include 911 lettering on the headrests, leather seatbacks, and a central armrest with Ickx’s autograph.

Only 75 models will be made by Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, since it is in honour of Ickx’s 75th birthday. It was launched on New Year’s day.
