While Bling continues to take the rest of the world by storm, we always thought that the west would remain immune to it. And by ‘west’ we mean the legendary regions where macho cowboys roamed the lands – unwashed, unkempt and ready to jump into a fight at a seconds instance. Read on to realise just how wrong we were.
Imagine a pair of cowboy boots that totally bought into the bling argument. Your imagination is never going to come up with what these Tony Lama Boots are – cowboy boots that are studded with gold and diamonds. This pair of boots used 4.4 ounces of pure 14 karat gold to create. Whats more, they even have a 100 diamonds studded onto them. The 100 diamonds are significant since they commemorate 100 years of boot making by Tony Lama.
These El Rey IV’s or the Kings as they are also known are the fourth in this series. The original El Rey I was created for Tony Lama’s 50th anniversary – and were stolen. The El Rey II also met a similar fate but we are hoping the El Rey IVs will remain safe along with the El Rey IIIs.
Interested viewers can go and see these $50,000 boots at the Laurel location May 13th, 14th, and 15th, and Glen Burnie location May 20th, 21st, and 22nd.
More details over at Tony Lama. Congrats on the Centenary fellas! Yeee Haw!!
